Stop the Bop - Relay for Life Fundraiser

Anyone who has ever spent time on a college campus probably knows the importance of Relay for Life

Every year since 1986, hundreds of institutions host their own Relay event, raising money and awareness for the American Cancer Society.

The Relay for Life is an all night walk/jogging fundraiser at which individuals and organizations form teams. The team fund raises and keeps a member of their team on the track overnight, cancer never sleeps, neither does the Relay.

The Bryant Players of Bryant University (Smithfield, RI) are holding a fundraiser to benefit their Relay for Life Team.

This fundraiser, called Stop the Bop will play Hanson's MmmBop in the Rotunda for as long as it takes to raise $2,000. Only then will a peaceful silence resume in the Unistructure.

While this is not the first Stop the Bop fundraiser, it is definitely the first of it's kind on campus.

As of Monday 03/01: 6:38PM, the Players have collected $195.00.

Cancer never sleeps, and neither will Hanson until the goal is met.

Best of Luck!
